Compare models
Model runs side by side
Put up to four runs for the same places in one table, and set figures from your vendor model or broker beside them.
No runs are open yet. Run a model, then press Compare with another model on its answer, or add a run by its id below.
Your own figures
Add up to two columns of figures from your vendor model or broker. Each model's figure then shows its ratio to yours.
Your figures stay in this browser and are never sent anywhere.
Every model figure here is ground-up: the whole loss to the buildings, in the dollars each run was sent. Enter ground-up figures to compare like with like.
What each run says about itself
Each run's own disclosure, basis and warnings, word for word as the lab returned them.
How this page works
The page reads each run from the model lab with the free sandbox key this browser holds for the model runner, and makes one the first time if there is none. It sends nothing else.
Every figure comes from the run's own metrics block. A cell shows a reason in place of a number when the run does not have that figure: a single earthquake has no yearly average, thirty recorded seasons are too few for return periods, and flood maps add up each place's own losses instead of simulating years.
A ratio measures one figure against another and nothing more. The place rows list only the places every run holds.
Amounts keep the dollars each run was sent in. Nothing is converted.
